Hello, friends! My name is Carol (probably the name of one of your aunts), and I’m figuring out life as I go! I have a beautiful little daughter named Kennedy Grace and the hottest, funniest, most loving and supportive hubby ever. Daniel and I live in Jacksonville, Florida, surrounded by water, and we love it!

Originally from Birmingham, AL, I’ll forever be a southern girl (my accent comes out more with wine). I graduated from Auburn University (War Eagle) in 2004 with a marketing degree, and still think it’s one of the most amazing places in the world (some of the best years of my life and such). I worked for five years as an advertising executive and worked for almost a decade doing communications, part of that for one of the fastest growing churches in the country. I’m the kind of person that loves life and lives it to the fullest. If I’m not on-the-go, then I’m probably going crazy. I love new challenges and learning new things! Teach me, oh wise one. I’m not crafty or domesticated, but working on it (I found the iron the other day, so that’s good, right?).

I started this blog to share our story and to help other women not feel so alone in the struggles that come with being a woman, a wife and a mother. Hoping that by getting real, we can stop the judgement and start loving and supporting one another through this scary, exciting life. I pray that my words fall to the ground so that God can use them to speak life, encourage and inspire.
